Our distinctive Trophy System returns, once again redefining how victory is celebrated and remembered. Designed to honor every step of the competitive journey, the system connects players, clubs, and games through a shared legacy and captures the spirit of cross-game competition.
The Trophy System is built around four core elements: the Key, the Game Trophies, the Club Championship Trophy, and the Totem.
Every player and team that qualifies for the Esports World Cup receives a personalized Key - an engraved inner key enclosed within a removable frame. The Key represents their place among the world's best and their opportunity to compete on the global stage.
Returning champions will receive a specially styled Key, recognizing their status as defending title holders as they return as Title Defenders.
Only when a player or team wins their championship is their Key permanently placed inside the corresponding Trophy, completing it and marking the moment they become champions.
The outer frame of the winning Key is then embedded into the Totem, a monumental structure that records every Game Champion, and ultimate Club Champion of the Esports World Cup 2026. Displayed throughout the event and preserved beyond it, the Totem stands as a permanent tribute to the competitors who shaped this year's tournament.
Not every player will lift a trophy, but every player becomes part of the story.
Players eliminated from competition must surrender their keys in a ceremonial moment that symbolizes the end of their championship journey. These keys are crushed, with the fragments preserved in resin and embedded into the foundation of the Totem.
The base becomes a permanent record of every journey that came up short, ensuring every competitor who reached the Esports World Cup remains part of its history.
Winning a title comes with one final honor: each Game Champion selects three defeated Keys to be embedded into the base of their own Game Trophy - a personal reminder of the rivals they overcame on their path to victory.
