EWC26 Club Championship Specific Rules for Fortnite
The Fortnite Reload Elite Series is open to all players, duos and professional esports clubs to participate and make their way to the main tournament at the Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris. As per the rules of the tournament, players can compete regardless of their Club affiliation, including players without any affiliation or in mixed duos.
However, to ensure a fair and transparent path towards the Club Championship - the Esports World Cup's competition of multi-game clubs across EWC's game tournaments - and to manage the contribution of players towards their Clubs in Fortnite Reload Elite Series, all participating Clubs and players should take note of the following regulations that are specific to the EWC26 Club Championship:
- Each participating Club is restricted to fielding one duo for the duration of the EWC26 tournament in the Fortnite Reload Elite Series. Points earned by this duo will contribute to the Club’s overall Championship standing. In case of multiple duos contracted to the same Club qualifying to the main tournament at EWC26, only the duo earning the qualification at the earliest time is eligible to represent the Club at EWC26. Any other duo that qualified in affiliation to that Club is allowed to compete in the EWC26 main tournament, but must not be representing the Club (i.e. by wearing jerseys or other branded apparel).
- To be eligible for Club Championship points, all players and duos must be contracted and publicly announced by the Club before the Club Championship deadline on April 30, 2026 - 23:59 Arabian Standard Time. Clubs must also communicate these rosters to the EWC26 tournament administration.
- The right to the EWC 2026 slot belongs strictly to the two specific players who qualified together. If the duo cannot compete as a pair, a replacement duo will be selected by the EWC26 tournament administration. Qualified duos are locked from the moment of qualification. Substitutes are not permitted. If a member of a qualified duo drops out, they may attempt to qualify again with a new partner; equally, if a Club releases an already qualified duo, they may attempt to qualify another duo under their name. However, in these cases the new duos will not be eligible for Club Championship points.
Clubs remain free to contract additional players for other Fortnite modes and tournaments (i.e. FNCS) without affecting their Reload Elite Series Club Championship eligibility.
